Networking Dinner: Hever Castle & Gardens
Hever Castle began as a 13th century country house with links to royalty. From 1462 to 1539, it was the seat of the Boleyn family and childhood home of
Anne Boleyn
. Anne was the second wife of Henry VIII and the mother of Elizabeth I. Anne became the Queen of England for 3 years before being famously beheaded by her husband in 1536. Henry's fourth wife,
Anne of Cleves
, which ended in divorce 6 months later, also owned Hever Castle until her death in 1557.
We will enjoy the colourful Autumn gardens, have photos outside of the Castle entrance and enjoy dinner and entertainment in the
Guthrie Pavilion
(the surname of the current owners).
